Real talk moment here - I am a plus-ish rider and am fully aware of it as I have always been worried about causing my horse back pain. I also have a spinal injury (spondyliothesis) from a multitude of car accidents.
That said, I really wanted to ride better before my first time out in tails and I was lucky enough that Dave Thind Method had a great program that I could do RIGHT before my first FEI show without negatively affecting me. I know, we DQs HATE change, what do I have to lose?
