It was great seeing my friend Dave Thind here in Wellington on Sunday. I had my first private Feldenkrais Method session with him and I must say it was so  interesting. I just rode my mare and I definitely feel more centered overall with less effort to do so. My seat felt more connected in the saddle and my back pain that I have had for years was very minimal. Thank you Dave so much for that. Makes me very happy! I highly recommend all riders giving this a try to see for themselves how these sessions can assist them. Dave (Dave Thind Method) offers private sessions, live group classes coming up in Wellington, as well as online options. If you struggle with unevenness in your body from any injuries, this is truly helpful. Here is a picture of my posture after he worked with me
Even after all these years, seeing how the Feldenkrais Method can easily help people free themselves from old pain, stiffness or asymmetry or other structural difficulties especially when medical findings that suggest otherwise is so rewarding. The method does not change medical findings, but gives one’s nervous system choices to automatically move freely, and without compensation.
Seeing people smile and experience joyful optimism about renewed, youthful and pain free  movement is such a gift.

Kim is a wonderful rider, please observe her incredible classical seat if you get the chance.

Feeling little improvements in the horse’s body and my body makes for confident progress - just quiet work not demanding. Feeling both of our spines and  balance. Thank you Dave Thind for the help!!!
